Refund & Cancellation Policy

When Premium purchases can be refunded, how to cancel, and your right of withdrawal.

Effective date: 20 July 2026 · Last updated: 26 July 2026

These documents are published in English, and the English version is the governing text.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers paid Perco Premium purchases, operated by LightRoast Studio (KvK 98824546). It sits alongside our Terms of Service (/terms), which govern your use of Perco generally. Everything you already use in Perco for free stays free — this policy only concerns paid Premium.

2. Who processes your payment

Where you buy determines who handles the money, and therefore who processes a refund:

  • On the web, Premium is sold through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Refunds of web purchases are issued through Paddle.
  • When native mobile apps are available, purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to those stores' own refund policies, and refunds for them must be requested through the relevant store — we cannot issue them ourselves.

3. Your EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase of Premium and receive a full refund, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, email us at billing@perco.app within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you. You keep this full cooling-off period even though we make Premium available to you immediately — we do not ask you to waive it at checkout.

This does not take away any other mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

4. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time from the Premium page on the web, through the billing portal (or, when native mobile apps are available, in your app store's subscription settings).

When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then does not renew. Cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund of the current period — you keep access until it ends.

5. Changing between monthly and yearly

Switching your plan takes effect immediately and is prorated:

  • Moving to yearly charges the prorated difference for the change straight away, then bills yearly at each renewal.
  • Moving to monthly applies right away and credits the unused part of your current period toward future invoices, so you are not charged again at the time of the switch.

The exact amount is shown to you before you confirm a switch.

6. Lifetime purchases

A Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. Outside of the right of withdrawal described above, and any mandatory consumer rights, Lifetime purchases are generally non-refundable because access is granted permanently at the time of purchase. If something goes wrong with your purchase, contact us and we will help put it right.

7. How to request a refund

For web purchases, email us at billing@perco.app with the email address you used to buy Premium and, if you have it, your Paddle order or receipt number. You can also contact Paddle directly as the Merchant of Record. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

When native mobile apps are available, request refunds for app-store purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play, as we cannot process those on your behalf.

If you paid by card and believe there has been an error, please contact us before starting a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve it faster directly.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; when changes are material we will update the effective date. Questions about a refund or cancellation? Email billing@perco.app. This policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
