The rules for using Perco, and the agreement between you and us.
Effective date: 20 July 2026 · Last updated: 26 July 2026
These documents are published in English, and the English version is the governing text.
These Terms are an agreement between you and LightRoast Studio, a sole trader (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 98824546, at Blauwe Loper 60, 5612 TA Eindhoven, Netherlands ("Perco", "we", "us"). They set out the rules for using Perco.
These Terms govern your use of Perco. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy (/privacy). If you do not agree, please do not use Perco.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Perco. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at support@perco.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
When using Perco, you agree not to:
You keep full ownership of everything you create in Perco (brews, notes, photos and so on). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to us — you are only giving us the limited permission (a licence) we need to run the app. That licence is worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free, and it lets us host, store, back up, reproduce and adapt your content (for example, to create thumbnails and previews) and display it to you and — according to the visibility settings you choose — to other users.
Separately, and only for content you have chosen to make public, you also allow us to feature that public content to promote Perco itself (for example, including a public brew in a screenshot or a social post). We do this only with content that is already public, and you can make it private or delete it at any time to stop it being used this way.
This licence exists only to operate and promote the service and ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anonymised contributions to the shared catalogue (such as public beans) as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you post and for having the rights to it.
If you believe content on Perco is illegal or breaks these Terms, you can report it to support@perco.app with enough detail for us to find and assess it. We review reports and may remove content or take other action. Where we remove your content or restrict your account, we will, where practicable and lawful, tell you why and give you a way to contact us about the decision. We may also remove content or suspend accounts proactively where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been broken.
If you believe content on Perco infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, email support@perco.app with a description of the work, the location of the infringing content, and your contact details. We will review and act on valid notices, which may include removing the content and, for repeat infringers, terminating accounts.
Perco may offer paid Premium features. Payments for web purchases are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase; Paddle's terms also apply to the transaction. Where native mobile apps are available, purchases made through an app store are handled by that store under its own terms. Prices and what Premium includes are shown before you buy. Your rights to cancel and to refunds, including your statutory right of withdrawal, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy (/refunds).
Perco is under active development. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may impose reasonable limits on use. Where a change materially reduces the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can. Some features may be offered as beta — they may be incomplete, change, or occasionally break, and are provided on that basis.
You can stop using Perco and delete your account at any time from your Profile; deletion is permanent. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, that creates risk or legal exposure, or where required by law, and we will act proportionately.
Perco is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data beyond what our reasonable security measures are designed to prevent. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The courts of the Netherlands (the District Court of Oost-Brabant) have jurisdiction over any dispute. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply where relevant, and nothing here removes a consumer's right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own country where the law allows.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Perco and replace any earlier versions. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of the business, without reducing your rights. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
We may update these Terms. When changes are material we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use Perco after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
